5) A favourite adapted film:
It wouldn’t be me to not get it on here, but XMen First Class is kinda adapted right? If that one isn’t allowed to count, I love the way Romeo + Juliet is handled by Luhrmann - it’s a beautiful adaptation. Also, so is Brokeback Mountain. The screenwriter takes Proulx’ rather dialogueless short story and creates something that works with the same described emotion.

9) An underrated movie:
I think Arthur Christmas was VASTLY underrated in the press, that film is the definition of fucking precious. I could say that about a lot of films I love and the numbers just don’t add up. I also love Penelope and people don’t GET that film. It’s seriously cute and just, yes, more people should love it (THERE’S A THEME HERE AND I’M SORRY ): ) IF you want another one, MORE PEOPLE NEED TO WATCH THE POLTERGEIST AS A COMEDY AND STOP TRYING TO BE SCARED BY IT. IT’S UNDERRATED IN IT’S COMEDIC VALUE.
